Sara Evans- Stronger
By:Connie Breeden, Sr.Editor
If contemporary country music is what you like, then Sara Evans "Stronger" cd is for you. Evans returns after taking three years off to record and, in my opinion, this is one of her best albums yet.
The album contains ten great songs. Her first release from the album, "A Little Bit Stronger", was also added to the soundtrack for the movie "Country Strong" and became a number one hit. The message of this song is encouraging for anyone who has been in a bad situation since surviving the pain of heartbreak makes us all stronger.
Her newest single, and one of my favorite songs from the album, "My Heart Can't Tell You No", is an original 80's hit from rock star Rod Stewart. I may be telling my age, but I liked it then and I like it even more now.
On this album Evans gives her 2000 hit, "Born To Fly", a bluegrass twist and although there is plenty of percussion, the banjo's and fiddles make we want to put my boots on and dance a little jig.
All and all, "Stronger" defines who Sara Evans truly has become over the course of her amazing career.
